Loss of Revs/Power

Post by esp22 »

Hi, i seem to be losing revs for a second when driving and its annoying...i think it might have something to do with when i put the heating on...would this be a fuel problem?injectors?pump?

The revs onl drop for a second but makes car jurk about...

Thanks

twice my diesel 45 had the same problem. both times it was fuel related (once i had a leaky injector pump seal so it was sucking air momentarily, the other was clogged up fuel lines).

i ended up getting a mech to diagnose it when it was the lines. the primer pump seal was pretty obvious, as it was damp/ish around the pump
