LT230 Transfer

Post by Nice_Surf »

I've just got a LT230 transfer for the Rangie as I've been told it'll bolt up with no problems (I've got what I need to convert it) but I looked in the bible to compare the different ratios and the one I have has a serial number starting with 61D as is't a from a 2000 Disco and on the case it has a tag I found saying 1.211 ratio and it has the locker in it :D

:?: :?: :?:

Yes that should be correct. It was the late 2001 - 2002 that didn't have the CDL, and all LT230's that came from 4WD's that ran 29" tyres had the 1.2 high range.

Also note that the front output flange is not the normal Rover PCD sizing.
