255/85-16 Creepy Crawler.

Post by Slunnie »

For those that are into skinny rubber, I've just seen that Maxxis have the Creepy Crawler in 255/85-16 now. I didn't think that was commonly known. Perhaps its because the load rating is so lame.

yeah Ive seen these bout a month or so ago. I rang Maxxis head office here in OZ and they said they have no plans to bring them over as there isnt enough demand for this tyre here.

I also called up Toyo Tyres here and asked them if I can get anywhere the 255/85x16 that they have just released in the states. works out at 33.5/10.2x16, but they said the same thing....spewing, coz the Toyo's although expensive are as tough as nails for a muddy.

I guess really there is no demand for the tyre if they wont supply it. I'm really surprised it has such a low load rating though.

As usual, the tyres you really want you have to import yourself.
