DANIEL.LUX wrote:i have a rb 30 with 35 inch muddys holds 120 down the free way on 33 12.5 coppers at its holds 130 drive well and has heaps of pull
we talking gas/no gas, loaded/un-loaded?
my old one with 33's,gassed,unloaded with 3 inch lift was a crying shame even with all the mods to it didn't like hills one bit!!
then load the bad girl up for a trip and the tears never stoppped!
although 3rd seemed to save the day quite abit, saw quite alot of time on the red line
my old truck done the job but needed alot more effort to drive at correct speeds, even more so then the 4.5 i got now
just strap a turbo to it
00 td42t wagon
stock engine, set up for work and play!
engine soon to be honking ;-)
nah its just got extractors and thats it just went away on the weekend car was loaded held 120 at 3 grand in 5th but up hills yes bit of a slug but it will hold 4th around 90km and its a duel fuel
my 3l has 33 inch coppers bye 12.15 for the rd and holds about 64 litres of gas and i get about 270km to a full tank of gas for around 34$ and thats driveing threw built up hears allways stop starting traffic lights etc etc and long journys around 320 330
Well the 3Lt Petrol is sure faster than a TD42 up hill trust me, want to talk about crying, with 35's, no turbo and standard 4.11 Diff ratios it sees alot of 3rd gear trying to keep 100k's up hill (my patrol up hill sees the 4000RPM mark alot)

it a rb30 3 liter has 4 inch lift
NOTE: THIS IS FOR all RB30 patrol owners.
mate the firt thing your cousin should do is pull the restrictor plate out from beneath the carby
or to be more preceise, take the carby off, break away the honeycomb that in on the baseplate, bolt it back on and enjoy the copious amounts of extra power that you now have.
they are not to bad at all with 33's and a 6" lift with the baseplate removed.
