2.5td Boost Pressure

Post by simmo404 »

Hi guys, Haynes manual suggests maximum boost is 85kPa (12.3Psi)

and operating pressure 82kPa (11.9Psi)

is this consistent with what other people are running or factory?
anydifferent with the intercooler?

Im in the process of finding out what mine is as the 'new' engine is noticably under powered.

Rule of thumb, turbo-diesel no I/C 10 psi, with I/C 15 psi.
If you go higher than this the factory blow -off valve vents anyway
