Another one bites the dust

Post by CJ Burns Esq »

Well, it finally happened. I have sold the FtrUCK. Waved it goodbye tonight, first 4WD I owned so it was sad to see it go.
Mind you, the cheques get banked on Monday and a 4" lift for the Nissan and 33"MTR's are on their way so it's not all bad.

Can't answer any F'terra questions anymore, don't know anything about them. The F'terra was a good truck, but it was time for it to go.I probably got a better run reliability wize out of mine compared to other owners so I was happy with it...

But cos nobody here has a Jack widebody nobody can answer my questions!!!!!! :bad-words: :bad-words:

My Ranchos are Part No RAN 9180 TS. I believe that they had to be modified slightly for them to fit. I'm guessing that the newer and older shocks can use the same shocks...

Bastards! :bad-words:

Sounds like they are stalling for some reason. Better make sure they are not doing something dodgey like swapping parts...
Hey, thats probably a bit cynical though...

Hope you get it soon.

Yep, I'm still alive, just haven't been active of late.

Whilst on the subject of selling Frontera's, I am in the process of coming to the end of my Lease, we have the option to buy it for about $8,000.00 or less and seeing I am moving to the States in May, looks like my dad is going to pick up a nice little truck. I still have a few more trips up my sleeve until then. Not sure what I will be driving in the States, but no doubt, its gonna be HUUUUGE :D

Cheers
Have a great year guys

I got it!!!! It is here!!!!! Picked it up Friday arvo.. Talk about taking there time!!! What a weapon, goes like a rocket. Probably not as fast as the F'terra, but the mid range torque is tremendous... Went for a bit of a fang up an easy track close to home and the rear flex is bloody good for a stocky. Got BFG muds on it on Saterday. 2" springs go in during the week if i'm not too busy. Front Ranchos will fit ok but don't know about the rears untill I pull the originals.
Pics soon!!!!
