body lift on FJ62 88 model

yeah boys, my brother in law wants 33's on his stock as a rock FJ 62 88 model Cruiser. I we do just a 2 inch lift will that be high enuf. and will gear sticks and accesories stretch long enuf for the 2 inches

any bad stories would be good to know

I put 33's on my HJ60 just before I sold it.
No body lift.
Stock springs.
No guard folding.
No seam bashing.
No scrubbing.
The only thing that had to be done was re-route the tailpipe so it didn't rub on the inside of the left rear tyre.

i got 33x12.5's on my 60 stock as a rock

slight rubbing on the outside edge of the rear tyre on full compression.

2" body lift would be a good idea, or dont go the 12.5" tyres, go for 10.5"
