snorkel fiting to an v8 gas

hi all i have a v8 lux on straight gas was just wondering if any one have had a snorkel fited to one
how is it done

you put a hole in your front guard on the intake side, then run a pipe thru said hole and attach to intake, place other end of pipe at roof leval

its not that simple buddy
i have a gas snorkel on it with an air filter
i have the snorkel itself sorted just conecting it

My hilux had the gas mixer sitting on the carby. Not the Snorkle type which i think you have. I just made a carby box out sheet metal and attached the snorkel to that. Supercharged cars that run a blow through system with a carby, usally have them. I copied a mates design and i can easily service the air cleaner or get at the carby by undoing 4 wing nuts!
