I am gunna place some alloy over my sills to Get a bit of bling happening, and to add a bit of bonus added strength. I will of course be cleaning up the current condition of my sills before I rivot the alloy over the top.
Now I am just wondering how to I go about bending the alloy over the lip and under the sill?? Can I hammer the lip flat up and under the body and just drill a couple of drain holes in the alloy?? Or do I just bend the alloy under the lip?
I have circled the "lip" that I am talking about in the picture below.... *please excuse the fact that half of it is already bent up up courtesy of a small rock*
You made a mess of those sills with the drill!
It would have been better if you ground the spots down with an angle grinder so you didn't put holes in the sills.
Better still, buy a spotweld drill bit for $10.
Get your ally chequer plate bling crap bent up with a 90* bend in it and fold whats left of your seam to suit.
You will need decent drain holes.

I know I made a mess of them. Its all a learning experience. I didn't know that you could get a special spot weld drill bit, so thanks for that advice! I will have to go get one and add it to my tool kit! I will know for next time! Cheers for the info!
