So what is the best compromise as far as setting ignition timing for an LPG/Petrol GQ TB42???
Ill be converting the points to a Crane electronic ignition (XR3000) in the next few days to try and iron out the dramas Im having with running like shyte when on gas.
Any suggestions, advice please?

Dont expect mere proof to sway my opinion.
you need to run it advanced a few degrees, and make sure you run premium unleaded in your fuel tank.
also you can add some steel to the tip of the rotor button to make it work better.
You can also have the dizzy regraphed for LPG which helps again.
