maxxis 751 vs 604v duelers

Post by trains »

Hi chaps.
ive searched the bible, and forum, but cant find much on the 30x9.5x15 size tyres.

Ive looked at the maxxis 751's but they look more like a highway tyre than an AT.
Not sure on the milage that the 751s would get compared to the 604v's

Nor on their durability off road.

It s for my 95 dual cab hilux diesel, and im not going to 31's

I really like what ive heard re the MTZ, but they dont do them, in 30 :(

Those of you with the 751's what milage did you get, how are they compared to what you had before, and what did those old ones give you in milage etc.

Edited to add, I was also looking at the Goodyear silent armour AT as well.
How do the 3 compare with each other??

cheers

This probably wont help much but i have a set of 751 on my vit and so far have 10,000 km on them and there great for what they are, also got just enough grip to snatch a bogged Patrol. for under $150 there nice.

have had 2 sets in 33", good for money, tough enough off road and get reasonable km, not too load either.

Just took 751's off my Prado. Had em for 2 years, easily 50 k. Still got about 4mm left. Gave them a good go off road too, rocks and mud and they got me thru everything. Can't fault them. Upgraded to MTZ's now. Wicked tyre...
