i did mine myself (check members thread for 89 patrol) and so far to get it to where the pics show it cost about $300 including 7 grinding discs and bog etc.

im repainting the whole car in 2 pak so cost another $265 in paint. i still need to make a tray (i have material lying around) then a 70 dollar mod plate and shes sweet
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown

mines heading off to 2dextreme on the weekend for its choppy chop, got quoted 5500 for panel and paint but he's doing a fair bit of other work for me too so my bill doesn't end there  ! ring dale on 0755487747 if your interested in going that way. I wouldn't have minded giving it a go myself but i just dont have the space for it

also depends on the quality of the job you want.

some places are upto 15k, but some of these are real factory lookin jobs..

www.creativeconversions.com.au/ did Ron Hollywood Moons dual cab and chassis extension so you end up with a good length useable tray..

dozens of threads on this, seemingly a few a day lately

anyone done a wagon conversion to a ute?? There wont be many left soon.

You will get a top quality job from Dale at 2dextreme. If you didn't know better you would swear his extra cab conversions were fractory.
