X2 IMHO 2" is too much to fix with a spacer - I'd vote for a new shaft.

When I brought my truck it had a spacer of about 20mm fitted to the rear prop shaft.Dam thing kept working the bolts loose. There was only bolts that whent through the diff flange, spacer and prop/uni joint flange. If you could some how bolt directly to the spacer from both flanges it might of been better. As I`ve changed a few things around on the truck I fitted a new custom shaft that is long enough. From personal experiance I`d certainly recomend getting the right lenght shaft,or be prepared to get to know you flange bolts on a first name basis.I`m sure you will come up with a name for each soon enough.

My Tom Woods adaptors do that. There is no runout or loosening problems with them at all.
