looks good mate, is that just ply you used? and got any other pics of the set up you have in the back.4130warrior wrote:Here's mine, bit of a crap photo sorry.
To get it level I just used a saw horse and a couple of bits of wood to position it, while I drilled in the hinges. It's pretty crooked when up against the door, but it sits perfectly level when it's down.

lol thanks for that, i dident no what to use for the base as i would like to be able to put food stuff on it and not have a hard time cleaning it, i thourt maby thin checkerplate with the smoth side down to put stuff on than the checker side up when folded up.4130warrior wrote:Yeah just 15mm ply mate, it's kinda dodgy (hell, I made it after all).
I've got pics of the drawer setup at work that I'll post tomorrow. My whole Zook is like one of those paintings that looks better from far away. Get too close and you realise how shady the whole thing is.
Here's a pic of the drawers before the table. The only thing I'd change is make one large drawer that goes the whole width instead of two. Lots less dicking around for a better result. I considered checkerplate but didn't want it rattling around. The carpet does get dirty but there's about $2 worth of the stuff on there, and if it gets really dirty it will take all of 20 minutes to replace the carpet. Doesn't make any noise.

My folks like at Port Macquarie and I'm up there regularly. Though the Sierra doesn't make the trip much these days. But I could bring it up for a wheel if you're keen sometime.
cheers scott
Ah that makes sense with the names lol. Haven't been wheeling for a while up in Port but my old man knows some good tracks. Went out to Jollynose Mountain down near Lake Cathie last weekend and there was some fun to be had with the mud. Next time I head up that way I'll give you a shout if I can be bothered driving the Zook up. Heh maybe I'll tow it up, would have to be more comfortable!
