sierra having trouble starting.

Post by me217 »

hey
i was wondering if anyone could help me. my sierra is having trouble starting. it used to be perfect but now it fires and dies then when u hit the key again and it fires and sorta splutters to an idle. once its runnin its flawless but just getting it started. it does it wen its been sitting for more then 5 mins. and it i hold the throttle abit wen i start it, it doesnt usually do it. but sometimes it stalls after i let go of the throttle. cause i only hold it long enough to get it started. i've got a vitara 1.6 litre efi in it. and its only started since i pulled the radiator out and then put it back in after figuring out the other one would fit.
any help would be great.

ok this is annoying. went looking for a fuel pressure regulator. only place i've found em is genuine and they quoted me 330 bucks. thats if they have one in stock in japan. i was lookin at a different model vitara. and the fuel pressure regulator looks the same but part number is different. i was wondering if it would still work. ive got the real old model vitara engine.
