Hilux - what's it worth?

Post by sierrajim »

Looking at selling my Hilux. What's it worth? (this is not a for sale thread)

1996 LN106 live axle dual cab, with NO rust and a straight cabin that has not beed rolled and repaired.

Mechanicals
2.8ltr diesel, turbo, intercooler, LPG injected, exhaust, snorkel, rear locker

Other bits
high clearance crossmember, 6,000km old springs and shocks, alloy roll bar, long range tank, ARB winch bar, dual batteries, muds, blingo dash gauges, pryo, CD, HD rear drive shafts, rear step bar, rear storage system

Has had
new cooling system, reco diffs, rear main seal, engine mounts, transfer case mount, centre bearing, windscreen, serviced every 5,000km

Has a couple of dents in the doors and a front guard that i'll have fixed before sale, will sell with RWC. What's it actually worth. People ask $10,000 plus but what are they actually selling for?

I paid $9000 for a diesel dual cab 2 weeks ago. Its in great condition with 12 months rego, lift, bar work and 33" muddies. I would pay $12000- 15000 for yours depending how straight it is.
