Toy diff swap

Post by SoldierBoy1 »

I am doing a toy diff swap I'm my Ser 1 disco, 80 Ser Elocker in the front and Hilux in the back.
Question , i have a 2 pinion open 4.1 center, and a 4 pinion lsd 4.556 rear.
can i make one out two, IE 4.1 gears in the 4.556 center.
Any help would be great.

I believe there is no reason you can't use the 4 pinion LSD centre with the 4.1 crown wheel, but can't be sure the crown wheel flange is in the same situ, a quick measurement will confirm it :D
