Series 3 rockhopper won't change the speedo reading as it comes from the output shaft of the transfer case.

My speedo did not change after fitting series 3 RH gears.

I used these guys a few years ago to correct the speedo on a 4.1 cortina with a supra 5 speed and they were great. Only mob I found that would do it.
