has anyone made their own drop boxes for a 3'' lift for a GQ?? what about legal stuff?? are they definitely necessary?? any info would be much appreciated.

personally I would not use drop boxes for under 4" lift. I have seen them fitted with a 3" and the arms pointed up hill at the diff end quite drastically.
