Alternate idea on dual battery setup

Post by rainsey »

Yeah I know.. should be in electrical but.... who reads the electrical section.

I have a spare alternator.. so the thought is instead of a dual battery controller like the Megatronics unit I currenlty have ( which i am not all certain likes different batteries) howze about an independant alternater for each battery.

Other than trying to figure out how the photon to put it in... from an electrical perspective .. any problems or have I just lost the plot?

Cheers

Rainsey
