60 series front tailshaft problems HELP!

Post by Wozza244 »

I have just wacked a 4" spring kit in the toy, the rear tailshaft is fine at moment but front is on a shithouse angle when flexed up, im gonna chew uni's out every time i play!
One bloke suggested some caster wedges and a double cardinal joint instead of doing a full on hassle cut and turn job on it. If i can avoid cut an turn, beautiful.
Help would be great!!

I thought 60's came with double cardinal front standard?

Why will wedges make it worse?

if you fit wedges thick end to the rear it lifts diff up that would be good BUT it makes it steer very badly so you would have to cut and rotate diff .

to be honest mate, the C&T is easier than putting in new springs.....
