I have just wacked a 4" spring kit in the toy, the rear tailshaft is fine at moment but front is on a shithouse angle when flexed up, im gonna chew uni's out every time i play!
One bloke suggested some caster wedges and a double cardinal joint instead of doing a full on hassle cut and turn job on it. If i can avoid cut an turn, beautiful.
Help would be great!!
do these have factory double UJs i have herd of people using surf front drive shafts with double UJs but i dont know if they will help with a lift that big you may have to space your gear box down
have no fix yet but have since got a auto hj61 and they have tranfer box further back with crossmember under tranny. but will convert back to h55f 5speed and problem is back.

Why will wedges make it worse?
if you fit wedges thick end to the rear it lifts diff up that would be good BUT it makes it steer very badly so you would have to cut and rotate diff .
mine runs 4'' spring lift and the front shaft has the double joint it runs close to the gearbox crossmember but apart from that i have had no issues at all with mine! and i have prob done 2000kms with it in 4wd since i brought it cheers
