Post up your Rocky 0-100 times

Post by RockyF75 »

Since getting my rocky going again with another engine it seems more gutless than I remember.

Not sure if its me being used to a road car (and prior to that, a TD Rocky engine), or if there's something wrong with this engine. Seems start and run smooth tho :?

So, if some of the other Rocky owners could post up their times so I can have something to go off, It'd be appreciated.

Sundials to the ready....... go
( usual disclaimers )

It seemed like a much better idea when I started it than it does now.

My 2.5TD Gen 1 Pajero 7 seater with a broken wastegate spring (= NO BOOST pressure at all) will beat the Fez to a 100 ... and as we all know Paj's are NOT known for their speed.....handling....looks.......power.....thier .....uh remind me again why i bought one???

Dunno about the smoke, but it uses 12L/100. Tested that today. Was 11.8L/96km's to be exact  . So I think its getting enough fuel.

V6 commy is sounding real nice at the moment, but the body's a bit of a dog so not worth spending any coin on improvements.

Which injector pump. Does it have the boost compensator on it.

Was it a turbo motor and you have taken the turbo off or is it N/A motor that u had a turbo on.

Neither. Its a NA motor with NA everything.

My turbo motor crapped itself and I decided I cbb rebuilding it (not that I really know how!)

What "crapped itself" exactly?

Not sure on the time side of things. I'd expect under 20sec thou.
If it doesn't have two sticks, I don't wana know about it!
