2lt Vitara?

There was a dude years ago that had a 253 V8 in one. But maybe a Holden V6 with Lux box and tranny, etc.???

You can fit an 18r out of a hilux, you could get an adapter plate to fit it but don;t know if they are still around

dai-hard off here has a V6 commy in his Rocky and I'm sure he said he gets about 12-13L/100 :?

You'd think it'd be even better in a smaller, lighter Scat.

I was geting 500+ klm from a 90lt tank running 35"tyres, but I drive em hard
even as a rep in a camery the other reps were geting 2 to 3 liters better than me, must be my big feet. but the power was unbeleavable, I was also running 4.88 toyota gear in the diffs, but kept breaking diff centers as they couldnt keep up, so I now have gu patrol running gear with 4.88 ratios.
but got the shits with constantly modding it so its now sold.new owner picking it up in early 09

Ive had a few F20s and still got a 84 scat with an 18R.

The 18r isnt suited the the gearing very well and doesnt like being on angles it looses oil pressure. So im putting a fresh 12r with cam/headwork/weber back in.

The V6 in the rocky works well. Running 31" tyres and 3.36 diff its doin 2150rpm @ 100kph. Went out last sunday was in low range all day did a recovery of a disco with about 1hr of pulling/snatchin/winchin and only used 1/4 tank the whole day.
