Auto Fluid Spec

Post by smccask »

I have a V4AW2, and i cannot determine exactly what fluid should be put in it. The shop catalogs all say one thing (ATF type D) the mitsi factory manual says another (some mitsi spec), and the gregory manuals say another (Dexron II). The bung plug in the auto pan has "DII" embossed on the head, so i am thinking i should go for Dexron II. Any ideas?
