Hi Guys,
I have recently fitted 4" lift kit and running 35" tyres. The rear tyres are rubbing the guard when the suspension at full travel.
Is it unusual to occur on a 4" lift GQ ?
How can I rectify the problem?
Thanks

- What width are the tyres?
- What offset are the wheels?
- Have you fitted adj. panhards?
- Which guard?
- Which part of the guard?
or chasis rail
or just the lip on the rhs above chassis rail

na.... same spots that 99.9999999% of GQ's rub done properly or not. some people just bsh the lip in on the bodywork, others cut it... Didnt bother me or damage tires, but lift wont change that. you can to 10inch and it will rub.
problem is you can lift it as high as you want, once you compress it, its still compresses back up unless you extend bumpstops (can take away flex) bodylift (has its own issues) or cut the guards being the more common ones. These all physically move the guard from the tyre.
