What is involved to change a 1992 75 series from a 3F petrol to a 4.2 diesel?
I was considering just buying a complete drive train - motor, box, transfer, shaft.
Is that the easiest way out or could I just change the motor?
Cheers
Dave

There are quite a few differences in wiring harness's etc.
Have you thought about fitting a late model LS1 and auto from a VT or VX commy. Their cheap and easy to find, plenty of adaptor kits available and are more economical to run than a 1HZ not to mention you would actually have some POWER!!!
Not that Im bagging the 1HZ, I have 2 of them!!! but buy the time you buy the complete diesel power train and make the changes to you ute to fit it then want to buy a turbo and exhaust down the track, you could already be out wheeling with a cheap, light, great sounding V8 and spend the left over money on some lockers or new treads!!
Either way 75's Rock!!!!
Busty!!!
