I'm in the middle of installing my Chev/TH700 combo into my GQ using a Marks MFK925 kit.
The kit comes with a new output shaft for the TH700 which has to be changed over. Anybody have some guidance for me ? Do I really have to take the whole TH700 apart to get this bloody output shaft changed ?

Take it to a trans guy if you are having any doughts. You will need to buy valve body gaskets & theres about 4 diferant ones. There is alot of balls & springs that have to go in all the right places if they dont you will have driving issues. Trying to do it yourself could cost you more in the long run. I did mine when I put a v6 in my old lux but thats what i did for a job at that time
Yeah, I will take it in to a trans shop anyway. I'll have them installing a shift kit and do a complete rebuild while there are at it anyway. Another grand to sink in the Troll
