there will be hotdogs at the start of the run so don't forget to bring some money for the raffle tickets and something to eat and drink.so how many people are coming.also for those interested there will be someone near the start point for most of the run for anyone with tow rigs though the Logan club is not responsible for the security of them.

I am keen as Have a 80 series f&R air lockers 6 inch lift and custom tube bars front and rear.

ONLY PROBLEM TYRES

35's but there coopers ST's.

Very capable rig until stuff gets realy slosshy.

What do you guys reckon.

They are almost brand new with plenty of tread, or is it a case of mud tyres need only apply.

2morrow night

Post by A.R.T Racing »

The last run was great fun, i'm planning on being there tomorrow night. But a few things to do to the car before then... See how we go.

Bruiser, come along it sounds like you've got some goodies on the truck. Bit of right foot at right time should get you through!

Problem is Glasshouse isn't mud it's CLAY.. I've seen 33's gum up and turn into 37's plenty of times.
The usual trick with mud is plenty of wheel speed to throw it out but that doesn't work with clay, you need an open, chunky tread. EG: Centipedes or 117 Extremes.
Cooper ST's.... Good luck.
Twin lockers and right foot might get you through.

What a :bad-words: night...
Started 2nd and got down Big Red no worries.
Made it up Ballbearing and on to Checkpoint 1(Locker Lane) without making a wrong turn. Got up Locker first crack piss easy.

Found Checkpoint 2 and got through the hard line to score another 30 points only to drive out the other side and then have the alt light come on accompanied by the smell of burning rubber.
The fan had pulled forward mincing up the radiator and smashing all the blades off. Fan belt got chopped up in the deal :bad-words:
End of the night for us.. We were doing well up until then too.

Got a tow back to top of Big Red thanks to Chris in the Rangie. He had dramas getting us there. His thermo fans didn't work for a while and it boiled and then blew the top hose of in a big way!!! After a roadside repair and top up of water we got back to the carpark and then I got a mate to tow me to Glasshouse where I left the car overnight..
I'll try to round up some parts and fix it tomorrow.

Again: BIG thanks to Chris from the Logan Club.

I might fit a big mongrel thermo fan so I can turn it off for the big water/mud holes. Will save this crap happening again...
Oh well hopefully I'll do better next time.

Thanks to the Logan Club for putting on another excellent run.

That was beaut.

Wasn't bothered chasing points, just happy to tag along but that in itself proved challenging. had to crack out the old snatch a few times last night and also went home with a bruise on the rear of the cruiser and minus a tail light.

Really hoping someone dumps a bunch of photo's up because I didn't take the camera and definately wished I had.

Thanks to those that helped and definate thanks to the organisers as usual. looking forward to next time
I'll give it a go......
