This is one of the two compulsory winches we had on ruffy's SS.
We did this to stop the exits out of the creeks getting trashed
and it worked well, with very minimal wheelspin allowed they
stayed in good condition.
It wasnt hard and most guys would have driven it easily but
its all we had to work with without tearing the place up, and
it gave them a run with the winch I suppose.

Many $ later in fuel but home to Kiama with out problem. Thanks Hobzee and Rudy, always a good event. Arn't they all! Very happy with the truck on its first real drive. Did have a minor (pain in the ass problem) on the night stage.
Hey Ruffy - we were one of the ones that cut and run. Wasn't meant as a comment on your ss. We believe it was the best decision at the time (and given the time). I think its part of the event to have that extra stress forcing people to make decisions as well as drive up and down hills.
Thanks all.
As far as an indecent proposal goes, I'd accept nothing less than $100,000 to tolerate buggery. Any less and it's just not worth the psychological trauma.
