NZ Patrollers... (favour)

Post by bogged »

Wondering if you would know if any of the TD42T Auto GU's in NZ came with Factory Cruise Control?

Trying to fix up the fuqups from useless pricks that fucked everything on my car they touched.

I can't get my cruise or tacho to work, and everything tests out..

On weekend found out the cruise control unit has MT marked on it, which we assume is MANUAL transmission... I wanna chase up an AUTO one so i can see if the auto is marked any different... if so buy it!

Any info/email addys of places in NZ to try etc I could try?? Do NZ Nissan have anything to do with these, or were they all grey imports??

Thanks

Will keep looking, but of the 15 or so TD42's I've checked so far, none have c/control, the only one I have found with c/control was petrol.
Haven't seen any of the auto 2.8's running it either

Bogged i do understand this,

but i am assuming your cruise control in your truck at the moment was originally from the TD42T manual.

the auto your running is a GQ auto, or did you end up running the auto from a GU or something?

just to compare cruise control modules you could have a look at a ZD30, TB45, TB48 just to see what the model number is on the cruise control module,

this will tell you if they are the same no matter what motor was fitted, or weather there is a difference between petrol and diesel, and the likes,

cause if there is no difference between the petrol and diesel and what you have got there would be a good chance they are all the same.

if you get my drift
