GQ floor knock turning??

Post by kegz »

hey fella
ive got a gq (maverick) 35s 3" sus lift and 3o caster correction and took it out for a decent 4x4 on the weekend and since then around corners it now knocks and you can feel it through the floor.

i have read the posts on the dreaded floor knock but wondering if it is the same as mine happens when im turning?

cheers

last time i went out one of the other gq's heard something very similar to your problem...when we were at the servo airing back up we found that he had put a lovely bend in his rear panhard rod...perhaps check this also???

ok ive checked the panhard rods they are fine thanks

ive checked where the chassis mounts to the body inderneath and its not cracked but is about 2mm around it where u can see it has moved/rusty dust? they are tight.

i still have to pop the rubber grommets out.
