Tyres... size or compound?
Had a quick chat to someone today who is of the opion when talking of tyres, "size dosen't matter". I was thinking of 34" coopers but as it was pointed out, whats the point of big tyres when gearing ratio is still the same. Better off with a sticky 31" or 32" in a standard setup. What says yous?????????

another reason bigger is better is when crawling, a small tyre will drop into holes more easily and struggle more to get out of them. it will also have more difficulty getting over obstacles. compage a skateboard wheel trying to climb up a curb to a bicycle tyre rolling over the curb. bigger tyres, if you have enough hamsters to turn them, will always be better. don't be afraid to cut.
