83Jak - In your pM to me you asked regarding a Vit 1.6L. Is it the swift or the Vit? 16V or 8V?

i definately know its from a swift and im pretty sure its from an 8v but cant be 100% and im unsure of the yr.

on my dizzy there are 2 wires, one going to positive on the coil and one that joins with negative on the coil and then goes into the main sierra loom. do i just wire one or both of the CAS wires into the wire going to the positive on the coil?
cheers

Got any photo's of the gear? If you cant host email them to me and i can put them up. On pyro's EFI swap i ran the brown (i think, i will check) pin 1 on the yellow connector to the Tach signal. This gives the ECU firing pulses. Did you download the conversion guid from suzuki info website?

ok so does this mean anything? is it good, bad? harder to wire up?

ive been studying the sierra dizzy diagram and with the rotor, magnet and pickup coil in there can i just wire up the cas to the two wires that go to the coil? as it will still be getting pulses through the igniter in the dizzy? please correct me if im wrong.
cheers

Have you got the swift manual from suzi or a copy from here , it tells you the resistance of the dizzy should be arround 150 ohms and with the suzuki dizzy you have the cas and a igniter in series , with your setup the igniter should be the external one I showed you in another post and the one in the suzi dizzy should be removed , and yes you do need the ballst or load resistor on the injector , Cheers Paul.

The standard dizzy has the igniter first and then the cas second , Cheers Paul.
