JUST LIFTED MY TRANSFER CASE UP BY 2 INCHES NOW WITH PICS
I thought this might be way, as like a 2" body lift the t=case mount studs are to long/short for a 1" lift. I ordered the honda engine mounts today and will give them a go. I'd like to lift the case an inch. Will probably try the Honda mounts first, if they can be found cheaply. Liftwise, I'm SPUA OME rears so only 1-2in of spring lift. Picked up the Honda engine mounts today, they cost me $42 each (twice the cost of a transfer mount) and are 23mm taller, they are 5mm larger in width and length.
The studs are the same as the original, the mounts require the small tabs to be cut off, the rear drivers mount also needs a corner trimmed off but it is simple and took all of 3 minutes.
One thing to note is the studs are off set by 8mm, therefore depending on which way you face them they will move your case either forward or back or left or right (unless you re drill the mount on the chassis or case.
I will use this to my advantage to move the case forward.

Don't know yet I have a Vit box and a shaft that I cut down and I really cant remember how much movement I left in the yoke, my motor and box is in pieces atm so when its all back together I will see. The drive shafts I have where custom calmini ones and I want to reuse them with the Lux/Bundy diffs and ruf, I am going to make adapters out of some spacers I have lying around but I will wait till its back together to work out how thick to make them.just cruizin' wrote:how will that effect the jack shaft/gearbox interface.

Ok, I finally have these made and available. They've been tested and have held up well. To fit them you will be required to drill out the chassis mounting holes and the transfer arms so they aren't totally 100% reversible.
Total lift is about 40mm which is enough to provide a clear line from chassis to chassis.

I have had these fitted in Casper for over 4 months now and have no problems at all. I also have a set on Std mounts fitted to my Stock Sierra and again not a problem.
The lifted ones works out that the T/case is now sitting above the chassis rails.
