60 series long range tank

Post by rumchaser »

Hi I have just got a 60 series with a 2h and a long range tank can anyone tell me how these units work ? It has the filler in the engine bay .

Is there a pump in the tank to transfer the fuel from the long range to the standard tank or vice versa ? :?

Thanks

I had one that I bought 2nd hand that had the filler in the engine bay. It was designed to have the fuel pumped into the top of the original tank.

Yeah i thought it was strange too :? Glad its not a petrol lol the filler is just in front of the brake booster . It dosent have a switch or anything that i can see to transfer the fuel so i dont want to fill it and then have to drain it all back out .
