Has anyone had any problems putting new leaf springs with 2'' lift and then get rear end shudders? Mine are only happening at 80k now. I have narrowed the problem down to the drive shaft angles since the lift. I lowered the gearbow mount to compensate but I am really need some advice.
Another option might be to space the engine mounts up... same net effect and doesn't sacrifice ground clearance.
However I can't recall if that would create a clearance problem ( mines not standard ) with the bonnet so measure first.

No to correct the driveline angle you need to space the two front mounts up - thats equivalent to spacing the rear crossmember down.
The transfer case rear output shaft needs to be more alligned to the diff pinion shaft, although this then disturbs the front drive shaft to diff alignment. As you unlikely to be going fast in 4WD this change in front drive angle is unlikely to give you grief.
