i had a leaking pinion seal a bit of water has got in because the oil is grey changed the oil it has only been like that for bout a week dose that mean my front diff is fucked? hhaha

she'll be right but water most likely came in from the breather.

And get some diff breathers if you dont already have them, $20 from supercheap will get you the needed bits, and an hour of your time.

yeha i got diff breathers mate i think it come through the pinion seal cause it was leaking n i got bogged what are some of the problems that could happen if i didnt get to it early?

A bit of water in there wont hurt, its the impurities in the water, sand and other abrasives will wreck gear quick.. If you think it came in the pinion seal, its possibly failed due to bad bearing preload conditions.. Check the preload before its too late..
