gidday guys Im wondering if this is easy enough to do at home and if any special tools are required.

if you have an air compressor and those inner and outer pliers,a jack and a spare set hands your good i just finished mine

very easy job , take the locking cap of the outer wheel ( six 10mm ) bolts and and remove the sirclip , then undo the cv from the axle centre , slide the end from the axle out first , it is easyer if un done have the front smash tray in.. then once u slide it out front the axle end its done.. easy as that put new one in , and aslso since u have the cap off tighten the bearings , remove second stage of outer cap ... wipe out grease ,, then there is 2 x head screws remove them and the retainer .. tighton bearing firm and then regrease and put back together...

i had to undo the top balljoint when i did mine it just was to long to pull out
i needed that little bit of extra room amd it made it easier putting them in aswell. good luck
