Modifying An Intercooler

Post by sootygu »

Looking at changing the inlet/outlet positions of an intercooler and was wondering if it’s possible (or recommended) to remove the welded end tanks and re weld new ones.

I know they will have to be removed carefully as not to damage the cooler but can it be done successfully.

try awill4x4 - his work is super neat, and he'll let you know if it's possible.
