piss easy, admittedly not as easy as the vitara motor, but having a 2002 model motor in my 92 sierra was well worth it for me.

hardest part is getting the radiator hoses sorted out as the thermistat housing sits up near the fire wall. other than that i would highly recomend it

looking at you thread blue suzy i really want a half cut dont I?
I had a 2002 baleno motor 43km organized complete motor ,accessories ,wiring and ecu.Im thinking now a front cut would be better so I can see how it all comes apart and have all those little things I may need.

Exactly right ajsr, if at all possible get a frontcut. I got a complete car from Suziworld i think it was, ripped the engine out and everything else i needed, then returned the shell so they could strip and sell the rest.
It isnt hugely hard to do if you are very mechanically minded. I made everything myself and i think BlueSuzy did too, but the job would be a lot easier just buying BenT's adapter plate if you dont want to make one.
If you need help with the wiring or anything else im happy to help, BlueSuzy is also very knowledgeable on the conversion.
I cant really give a good review on how the engine goes in the sierra, as the rest of my driveline gave up the ghost from the extra power and i havent had a chance to finish repairs.
Also if you look in the bible, i compiled all the threads relating to the conversion.

All i bought was the engine, harness and computer. So sortof half, a halfcut. :D

Half of my engine bay is custom. So if you can fabricate. That will be the go!

Also, the motor and wiring was $1090. 1k cheaper then the vits at the time. Mine had 140xxx kms on it though..

Engine review: Still going hard...Now with ricer pod filter instead of 1L airbox  I like the induction noise..

Goes way better then my oldschool Ke30 rolla...1166cc bro....Awesomeness...

Any other questions, it is fine to ask us ;) But can you please put them in the Baleno thread as we were trying to keep it all Baleno related!!!
