350 chev v8 in 80 series.
just wondering if anyone has ever done this. i have a 1hdt auto powered 80 series. i rebuilt the engine 5000 kays ago it just had its first service but i am not happy with the power. i am pushing 35's and is pisses me off how slow it is. i have a electronically fuel injected 350 sitting on an engine stand brand new never started and i know i can buy all the adapters and parts and its is relatively straightforward. ive owned plenty of V8s but they are never my daily driver. i know it will be enought power i would change the cam to a high torque low rev and probbaly have to modify the auto to shift higher what do you guys think.
Im here for the sausage!
