Will a gu 4.2 diesel turbo work on a gu 4.5 petrol??

no offence but if u can't afford the right turbo do u think the rest of the install will be any better? also known to bend rods at 15psi or less, autos break 3rd at 165rwkw, engine management /fuel for these can be several thousands, or u can cheapo install like other's have and pull the pin and see how many weeks or months u get...

x2, Josh085 search for raptorthumper, first impresson gt3040 on tb45, something like that. It shows alot of problems that can happen.

ps I'm not knocking his build but it is a good ilistration.

josh you seen my car at rd 2 in 07 when i was running two turbo's on my tb42 that are bigger than 1 td42 turbo and it came on that early it wasn't funny but it didn't run out but never finished tuning it. but yeah it'll never work. if you want a cheap way out of it get an xr6 turbo.

I knew it wasnt the right turbo but i have the kit sitting in the shed that was all thanks for ur info cheers josh.. Have been looking at the xr6 turbo setup for awhile so i would say i will venture that way..
