series 1 bodylift

hey mate,
I made my own bodylift. Used 60mm nylon rod cut it to the size of the BL i wanted. Drilled a hole in it with a drill press, got some new high tensile bolts, washers, nuts and spring washers. If your handy with tools its an easy and cheap option.
I had no worries getting it passed for rego with a 3 inch bodylift and 33" muddies.
Cheers

did you have to modify your fuel or brake lines and did you have any problems with your gear leavers
brake lines dont need to be modified. You do need to extend the fuel tank filler pipe with some stainless steel exhaust pipe and 2 pipe clamps. The gear levers may need to be modified. I had to cut some floor out for mine as I couldnt fully engage reverse or first gear. You need new heater hoses, extend the steering rod from the body to the power steer box, move the radiator down so the hoses dont need to be extended and the fan doesnt hit the lower outlet. Thats about it.
