Just in case it gets missed in the upgrade thread.
Can anyone confirm if the plastic tanked late WT radiator is the same as the coily radiator?
My 93 plastic tanked WT has split so it's time for a new one. None of the rad shops I've spoken to have a seperate listing in their books for the 2 different WT rads, but have a seperate coily listing. Is this my rad?
Just want to make sure I only have to order once, and so I don't have fan shroud and bracket issues when I get it.

i would rather run twin 45mm weber side drafts.
one throat per cylinder makes the world of differance.

Sell the rear airlocker out of the vitara to another vitara person. use the money to fund your front locker on the sierra.lockdup wrote:Hi People,

Or, save up all your parts because you will want them again some day.
Note: thinking ahead a bit - don't get a sierra front airlocker - get a sierra rear air locker to fit in the front when you install some heavy duty cv joints and chromo axels...

has anybody used lowering blocks to counter act the overall height of the suspension + wheels
my thought on this was if you run 34 or 35's with longer springs and shackles it will be getting tall but by putting in lowering blocks the suspension still works and the tyres still give you a better diff clearance and entrance and departure angles
is this feasible or not?

But you will loose clearence under the spring plates. Plus blocks are just hack. Nice work on the thinking though.ofr57 wrote:has anybody used lowering blocks to counter act the overall height of the suspension + wheels

ah true .. I'm not really a fan of blocks (lift, lower or body ) and now that i think of it will result in giving you 3 low spots on a single diff instead of just the pumpkinlay80n wrote:But you will loose clearence under the spring plates.
