GU centers into a GQ diff??

i purchased complete GU centres with air lockers to go into my GU, but now want em in my GQ ute im building up, will they fit straight in?? ive had mixed answers from mates,

The flanges will have to be changed and the nuts are very tight.

GU to GQ should be fine, it's when you go GQ to GU that the front axles have to be shortened approx. 5mm.
