Hey guys need some advice please..
In december I had a 3" lift kit fitted with dobinson springs all round and Lovells Gas Legend shocks and a few other goodies like Mecavel drag link, swaybar disconnects, adjustable panhard rods front and rear and superior extended lower arms.
Now the problem I have is that I took it out to some easy tracks on the weekend and it handled them well, nice and smooth.
I drove it home and I didn't notice any difference.. but I wasn't really paying attention, but when I got in the car this afternoon to go down the road I noticed the car seemed a little slanted to the passenger side. Just thought it was the camber of the road.. kept driving.
Got on to a flat driveway and noticed it was still a little slanted, got out and checked with a tape measure from in the car and found that when measuring from the bottom of the rim to the flare that the drivers side was at 82cm and the passenger side was at 78cm.. thats quite a big difference!
Can anyone throw some ideas my way on what I should check?
Cheers, Jon

One corner of car sagging after trip out.. HELP!!
Are you certain it was level beforehand?
The springs (as well as front to back specific) are left to right specific as well! accidently did it to mine and it was 40mm different.
Also check your springs are seated properly, i know the front can be rotated and that will change the ride height.
All i can think of.

checked all mounts.. none are squashed or falling apart. going to swap front springs over and see if that helps. if not, going to swap them back and put a 30mm spacer in to see if the spring sags even further. if it sags further i'll get a replacementYom wrote:check your bodymounts!!
Mine doesnt sit straight and its because the bodymounts are knackered
I have had similar trouble from Dobinsons Springs (4" flexy kit) my drivers side was down about 40mm and checked everything, correct side to side orientation, correct seating, panhard length weight distribution etc etc - Everything!!
Turned out to be a collapsed front drivers spring, just not holding the weight of the vehicle as it should and the top 5 coils were sitting directly on top of each other while the other side was slightly spaced out.
Replaced them via my original supplier without a hassle. It fixed it marginally but there is still a slight lean to the DS. Packed the rear with a 30mm spacer as i though being compress for w while it may have affected it, but this didn't seem to do anything!! It's beyond me and i'm over it. Will just run the current set up until it fails or i get the sh1ts and change it. But will be going for a firmer spring that's for sure. Lockers should make up what for the flex i loose.... it shouldn't have to be that way but hey - what can you do!

Im going to get under the car and measure the spaces between the coils on each coil to see what differences there are as I have a feeling that the passenger coil has failed. Im going to get the spacer off my supplier to see whether they drop further though.. if it drops further I definately want a replacement. If the next one fails I'll be changing brands as the springs I have for my GQ are the heaviest springs they make for the vehicle.
