Post by kegz »

hey guys just wondering a few thing that arnbt mentioned in the marks conversion

- how do you or what accelerator cable to you run?

- dipstick?? the little fitting on the hq sump is facing the exhuast
can u get a flexible one or do u put a new inlet for it?

- using hasv headers do u cut the flanges off for clearance on the LH (passanger side) near the slave cylinder.

thanks guys

hq sump and HSV headers = injected ( or otherwise) turbo pattern 5.0 holdenmotor.

there was a mention of using another model header to clear the slave on here not to long ago.

you can get flexible dipstick tubes for holden motors.

you can run an origional holden cable adapted at the firewall.

ok guys nother arvo of playing,

what i done was cut the bottom radiator neck at the weld, then cut a bit more of the neck peive to get the right angle and welded it back on
then used the gq diesel top hose.

hope this helps anyone doing the conversion.
