I had a similar problem on my 2000.

It would pop out from the front diff on the RH side.

I replaced the spring clip thinking that was the problem. It still did it. I got hold of another inner shaft (the bit that goes into the diff) and it hasn't given any trouble since. Side by side, both shafts looked the same, but there must have been some wear somewhere on the original. I didn't have any verniers at the time to check it properly.

firstly if you have an aftermarket suspension lift make sure it isn't too high and secondly check the drivers side mount on the diff. have seen the mounts bend upwards causing the diff to sit slightly higher therefore making the cv slip out of its splines more. these models also don't have in internal c-clip to hold them in like previous versions.

its ok if it moves around a little but sitting an inch or so higher on the drivers side is not good. if you pull the drivers side mount off and compare it to a new one you will notice the difference if its bent, and will be a lot cheaper then a new cv/axle.
