60 series front springs

Post by Pony »

G'day all;
I have recently purchased a 60 series really cheap (almost free) just having a good look at to see what I want to do with it and noticed that the front spring shackle bushes are flogged out.
When looking from the front the springs are sitting outside the line of the spring hanger, only a small distance but enough that it would need to have offsett bushes.
The bushes in it now arn't offsett and hence have flogged out, so my question is do 60 series have offsett front bushes?
The rest of the front appears straight, the springs and axles look straight, the spring pack itself is alligned, not twisting all over the place, the spring pack is sitting straight on the perches, so I can't think of anything else it can be except offsett bushes.
Can anyone shed some light for me?
Thanks

Had a bit better look and it appears that the springs are not sitting quite straight on the spring perches and are held tight off centre by the U bolts, I am getting new shackles and bushes and will see what happens when I put them in.
thanks
