finaly i was able to coverse with someone at unifilter over an email or 10 and it seems the 05 navara STR air filter is exactly the same as the 08 navara STR, something that nissan wouldnt confirm and distrubitors didnt even have a clue about , so i tried a friends 05 3 litre filter in my 08 2.5 litre and what do you know same same perfect fit. Which becons the question, do half of these morons out there selling all this (extremely i dont know why its so expensive) after market add ons and bolt on performance and off road gear know what they are actually selling or is it the they just want our hard earnt loot and dont give a fat rats clacker, cheers steve...
